“The Two sides of a Story”

Never did I think splashing colored water on your ex could make something so visually exotic! This photo series depicts the concept that every story has two sides, two opinions, and two sets of emotions behind it. I used this photo series to explore different kinds of photo editing software to create an enticing visual experience. Much like our relationship we often fought because of our views of the human experience. His being more the profound and cynical (left), while mine was more bright and optimistic (right).

“Trying to find that Connection”

Throughout my life, I have felt disconnected from people when in person but suddenly they feel like an age-old friend through social media. This digital drawing was inspired by the concept of the Simulacrum; the philosophical idea that the human race has lost the human connection. This has occurred due to the vast amount of technology we consume to the point that we can not discern the difference between what is real and what someone else wants us to believe is real.
